Biography

Sunil Rao has worked at the law library since June, 2000. As the foreign law librarian, he is responsible for selection of new materials in the law library in the areas of foreign law, comparative law, and private international law. He assists law library patrons with research questions and provides research instruction in these areas.

Sunil spends a good deal of time at the reference desk and is also involved with the creation and maintenance of the library's bibliographies and guides.

In his spare time, Sunil enjoys reading, tennis, traveling, and writing fiction.

  • Sunil Rao published "Watering the Seeds of Consciousness Through Sound : Logos, Shabd and the Implications for Natural Law" in the Aug. 17, 2023, edition of Canopy Forum, an online publication of the Center for the Study of Law and Religion at Emory University. Read the essay.
