Join Emory Law Professor Frank J. Vandall '79 as he considers the use of tort actions to accomplish justice and compensate victims of gun violence. Using the National Rifle Association as the core example, Professor Vandall will discuss how tort actions might proceed against players in the gun industry, specifically considering duty, cause in fact, proximate cause, and damages. Updates in Second Amendment case law and other gun-related issues will also be discussed.
