The Institute for Legal Studies presents "Research Opportunities in Clinical and Practice Settings" a faculty workshop featuring Professor Michele LaVigne.

Professor LaVigne will lead a roundtable discussion exploring the possibilities for scholarship in clinical and practice settings.  Additional roundtable participants will speak about their experience of becoming a clinical scholar, including how they developed ideas for research projects, how they integrate scholarship into their clinical practice, and the challenge of finding time to add research and writing to their already busy work lives.

A recent Wisconsin Law Review article, "The Clinic Lab Office," addresses the potential for law school clinics to serve as sites for conducting research. You can access the article here.

This event will take place at noon in Lubar Commons. Please register by contacting Pam Hollenhorst.
