Opportunity to lead Contracts I discussion groups If you are interested in serving as a Contracts I discussion group leader in the fall semester of 2007 you should contact Professor Kidwell by e-mail. Discussion group leaders can enroll for 1 or 2 credits of Directed Research, under Professor Kidwell's supervision. A minimum of 40 hours of work over the course of the semester is required for each credit earned. If you are interested, contact Professor Kidwell by e-mail at jkidwell@wisc.edu. He will send you a more detailed description of the requirements. You should be prepared to submit an application including a resume and transcript. Enrolment is limited. Discussion group leaders will be expected to: 1. Meet on a regular, scheduled basis with Professor Kidwell. 2. Meet weekly with the first year students in their groups, guiding discussions of course material, leading discussions of the substantive issues in contract law, and helping students with case-briefing, outlining and exam preparation. 3. Read a modest amount of supplementary material. 4. Complete two short written projects.
