This is a reminder, to any 1Ls who plan to apply to the State Bar
of Wisconsin's Diversity Clerkship Program, that applications must
be submitted to the Career Services Office NO LATER THAN
4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21. The
application deadline is VERY strictly enforced by the State Bar of
Wisconsin, and extensions will not be granted, so to be on the safe
side (to allow for weather emergencies, computer issues, printing
and photocopying problems, etc.), we recommend that you try to
submit your application materials no later than Tuesday January
20th. Keep in mind that a complete application consists of
SIX COPIES of the completed application form, your
personal statement, your resume, and a legal writing sample.
Applications submitted after 4 p.m. on January 21 will not be
considered.
If you did not pick up a copy of the application form before you
left Madison, you can download the application and instructions
from the State Bar of Wisconsin's website at
http://www.wisbar.org/AM/Template.cfm?Section=doc&Template=/CM/ContentDisplay.cfm&ContentID=38527
