Megan Phillips is a partner and owner at the law firm Edwards Richter &
Phillips, LLP in downtown Madison. She specializes in Litigation, Family Law,
Business Services and Professional Licensing Disputes. Megan handles lawsuits
in a variety of areas, including those involving construction claims,
shareholder disputes, employment issues, fraud, probate disputes, personal
injury claims and business disputes. She also practices family law and handles
cases involving business and retirement plan divisions, child support, custody,
placement, spousal support, paternity issues, prenuptial agreements and
grandparent visitation. Megan also assists business owners with organizing LLCs,
drafting operating agreements, arranging financing for business acquisitions,
negotiating leases, and registering trademarks. Additionally, she handles

After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin - Madison (Journalism and Psychology), Megan graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Before attending law school, she worked as a legal assistant and litigation specialist paralegal in Madison.
