Rebecca Rapp and Aisha Smith, both lawyers at Great Lakes Higher Education Corporation, will discuss:
- The elements of a “good” corporate compliance structure (in the eyes of regulators who evaluate them)
- What compliance means in a “gray” world filled with legal and factual ambiguity, sub-regulatory guidance and competing and sometimes inconsistent regulators and courts
- Strategies for protecting the attorney-client relationship and privilege within a corporate compliance structure (that depends on transparency and reporting)
