The LEO Program invites UW Law School faculty, staff and students to attend "The Problem of Micro-inequities," presented by Marguerite A. Fletcher. Topics include:
- Definitions and case studies of micro-inequities
- Paying attention to impact as well as intent
- How the brain works
- Strategies for interrupting bias in a constructive and effective way
- Using privilege to be an ally
- Taking responsibility for one’s role in a conversation
About the Speaker: Marguerite A. Fletcher is the president of Fletcher Consulting, LLC. As a diversity consultant, keynote speaker and executive coach, she has been active in diversity issues for over twenty years.
