Weather reports for our area say that we may get more than 10 inches of snow between Thursday evening and Friday morning, Dec. 19. We will continue to collect take home exams as scheduled. If the Madison campus is closed on Friday, December 19, you may submit your take-home exam electronically to me at rrobarts@wisc.edu. It will still be due by 4:30 p.m. You will need to bring the other materials back when you can (non-collaboration statement, etc.) . Please tell me when I can expect to get the other materials when you send your take home exam to me.

You can check the UW-Madison web site for information about whether campus remains open at www.wisc.edu. Local news stations also announce campus closings along with k-12 school district closings.

We do not want any students taking unnecessary risks. If campus is open, but the weather conditions cause you not to bet able to submit the take home exam  in person on Dec. 19, you should follow the procedures above: e-mail the exam to me no later than 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 19 and tell me when to expect the return of the other materials. Please do not send me exams due on days other than Dec. 19.

This is an emergency procedure for Dec. 19 only. Please call my office telephone (262-8557) if you have questions about submitting an exam on Dec. 17 or Dec. 18.

Please plan ahead and be very careful.
