A conference titled "Intellectual Property in the Digital Environment," co-sponsored by the Law School and the School of Education, is planned for May 6-9, 2001 at Madison's Monona Terrace Convention Center.
Keynote speaker will be Marybeth Peters, Register of Copyrights, U.S. Copyright Office. Topics to be discussed include copyright, ownership, fair use and edu-business partnerships in distance education, on the Internet, and for multimedia.
