Professor Brun-Otto Bryde of Giessen, Germany, who was a visiting professor at the UW Law School in 1989 and 1994, was appointed on Friday, December 8 to the German Constitutional Court.

Professor Bryde teaches at Justus Liebig University (The University of Giessen). He is well known to many members of the UW Law School community through his work with the exchange program (for students and faculty) that the Law School maintains with the University of Giessen.
