R. Alta Charo, Professor of Law and Medical Ethics at the Law School and a nationally prominent bioethicist, has been consulted by numerous national media organizations in the last weeks for her expertise on the issues of embryonic stem cells, cloning and in vitro fertilization technologies.

She has been interviewed on CNN Nightline, ABC World News Tonight, NPR's Morning Edition and NPR's Weekend Edition, C-Span's coverage of the National Academy of Sciences meeting, and public television's Jim Lehrer News Hour. In print, she has appeared in People magazine (August 20 edition), and has written articles for The Washington Post (Sunday, August 12) and The Chronicle of Higher Education (Tuesday, August 14), among others.
