The 13th annual 5K fun run/walk "Race Judicata," sponsored by the UW Law School's Public Interest Law Foundation, will be Saturday, October 26. The Race raises funds to support law students doing public interest legal work for low-income and underrepresented communities.

The run begins at the UW Natatorium, 2000 Observatory Drive, and goes to Picnic Point. Check-in time is 8:45 a.m., and the race begins at 9:30. Five age groups will be running: Under 20, 20-30, 31-40, 41-50 and 50+.

Advance registration fee is $15 per person, or $12 per person for a team of five persons or more. On the day of the race, the fee is $17. Each person who registers receives a Race Judicata T-shirt.

The Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) is a student-run organization that relies entirely on donations and fundraising to do its work. The primary goal of PILF fundraising is to enable law students to do public interest legal work that would otherwise be unpaid ? or undone.
