Professor David Trubek of the University of Wisconsin Law School spent two weeks in Latvia in December 2002 as a Fulbright Senior Specialist, working in the capital city of Riga at the Graduate School of Law.
Trubek taught a unit in a course on European Union law, conducted a seminar for faculty and doctoral students, and served as a consultant on academic policy.
The Fulbright Scholar Program is sponsored by the United States Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Its purpose is to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.
David Trubek is Voss-Bascom Professor of Law as well as Director of the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Center for World Affairs and the Global Economy (WAGE).
