The workshop "Antitrust and Competition in Energy Markets" will take place May 19 - 21, 2003 at the UW-Madison's Fluno Center for Executive Education, offered by the Wisconsin Public Utility Institute and co-sponsored by the UW Law School. This two-and-a-half-day course will give an overview and introduction to antitrust law and competition policy as it applies to the energy industry.
The course is intended for attorneys, consumer advocates, energy executives, large energy users, legislative staff and regulatory agency staff. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with nationally recognized leaders in the field and to apply what they have learned through role-playing analysis of antitrust competition problems. Law School Professor Peter Carstensen, an authority on antitrust law, is one of the workshop instructors.
The program is approved for 22.5 CLE credits. To view the online brochure and register, visit http://uwexeced.com/wpui/programs/anticomp.htm .
