Randolph C. (Randy) Reliford, currently a first-year student at the University of Wisconsin Law School, has been elected 2003-2004 Midwest Regional Director of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA).

Reliford will oversee BLSA activities at the 45 schools, in 12 states, of the Midwest Region.  He will also be sitting on the National Executive Board of BLSA.

Two other UW law students will join Reliford on the Executive Board for the Midwest Region: Tanya Smith, regional treasurer, and DeAngela Ellis, second vice-chair. This is the first time that three UW law students have taken national and regional leadership positions with the organization.

The new term for Reliford, Smith and Ellis begins on May 1, 2003.
