Rachel Roe, a 2001 graduate of the UW Law School, has been in the news recently as a member of the U.S. Army Reserve Civil Affairs Unit working to bring civil order in Iraq.

In a May 21 Washington Post article describing the achievements and challenges of Roe and her co-workers, Roe tells reporter William Booth,  ?Everyday, we?re going to fix something here.  Important, life-changing stuff.?
