The University of Wisconsin Law School’s Indigenous Law Students Association (ILSA) will present its 22nd Annual Coming Together of Peoples Conference from Thursday, February 28 to Saturday, March 1, 2008.

Speakers will discuss important issues in Indian law. All panels will be held at Memorial Union on the UW-Madison campus, 800 Langdon Street.

The conference is free and open to the public.

A banquet on Friday, February 29 will be held at the Madison Concourse Hotel from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at a reception at the Angelic Brewery on Thursday, February 28. The ticket price is $15 per person.

Support for the event is being provided by the Indian Section of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Godfrey & Kahn law firm, Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission, Niemisto Family, ASM, Student Bar Association, Lac Courte Oreilles Band, Professor Richard Monette, and individual UW Law School alumni.
