If you are thinking of applying to the University of Wisconsin Law School, this is your invitation to attend the Law School's Fall Open House on Tuesday, October 14, 2003. The Open House will help you understand the admissions and financial aid process, and it will give you an opportunity to hear more about what makes the University of Wisconsin Law School such an exciting place to study. You?ll be able to tour the Law School, sit in on a class, interact informally with students and faculty, and get to see our Law School community up close.
This year, the UW Law School Fall Open House coincides with the Midwest Association of Pre-Law Advisors (MAPLA) Caravan, which brings law school admission representatives from 70-80 law schools to Madison to answer questions about their law school's programs and specialties. The MAPLA Caravan will take place at the UW Memorial Union in the Great Hall, very close to the UW Law School, from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, and you will find it easy and convenient to attend both events.
The schedule of events includes:
8:30 a.m. Registration
9 a.m. Welcome to the University of Wisconsin Law School
9:30 - 11 a.m. Who Comes to Wisconsin & Why? The Admissions and Financial Aid Process
11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Class visits and Law School tours
Anyone interested in attending should RSVP on or before October 6, 2003, by calling the Admissions Office at 608-262-5914 or sending an email to admissions@law.wisc.edu.
If you are unable to attend the Fall Open House on October 14, you may be able to speak to admissions representatives at one of the 2003 LSAC Law School Forums: Atlanta, GA (September 19-20); Chicago, IL (October 10-11); Boston, MA (October 25); Houston, TX (November 8); San Francisco, CA (November 10); and Los Angeles, CA (November 14-15).
