University of Wisconsin Law School Professor Louise Trubek has received an award for excellence from the Wisconsin Public Health & Policy Institute for her paper "Achieving Equality: Healthcare Governance in Transition,"  co-authored with Maya Das, a J.D./M.D. student.

The paper was selected as winner in the category of Peer-Reviewed Publication by a Wisconsin Author. The award was presented formally at the Institute's Fall 2003 conference.

Louise Trubek is Clinical Professor of Law and Director of the Health Law Project at the UW Law School.
