Ann J. Flynn, a 1993 graduate of the UW Law School, has been named to the position of Director of Development for the Law School. Flynn has conducted a solo practice in Madison for the last eleven years, and has worked in the field of fund-raising for a local nonprofit organization.

In addition, she has a broad educational background, including a B.A. in French from Indiana University and an M.S. in Food Science from Purdue.

"Ann was selected through an intensive search we conducted after our previous development director, Ken Krueger, accepted a new position within the UW Foundation," Dean Ken Davis told the Law School community in announcing Flynn's appointment. "Ann's experience as an attorney in Madison, her knowledge of the Law School and the State Bar of Wisconsin, and her breadth of interests augur well for her success in engaging an increasing number of alumni to stay connected with the Law School."

Flynn comments, "I'm looking forward to getting to know many more of my fellow alumni, and I would also be very pleased to work with anyone who may have thought about giving a gift to the Law School but wants to learn more about the different options available for giving."

Ann Flynn can be reached by e-mail at ann.flynn@uwfoundation.wisc.edu or by calling 608-263-2202.
