The Global Legal Studies Initiative (GLSI) is a joint project of the University of Wisconsin Law School and the Office of International Studies and Programs. Through this initiative, the Law School and International Studies will work together to promote the understanding of international, transnational, and comparative legal systems, processes and regimes and disseminate this knowledge to students and constituencies on and off campus. To launch this effort, GLSI, in conjunction with other entities on campus, is sponsoring a series of events about "Law and Global Transformations."
GLSI receives ongoing support from the Center for World Affairs and the Global Economy (WAGE) and the East Asian Legal Studies Center (EALSC).
The event is open to all faculty, staff, law student and graduate students. Advanced registration is not required, but anyone planning to attend is asked to send an email to Pam Hollenhorst, pshollen@wisc.edu.
