University of Wisconsin Law School graduate Michael Z. Green, who earned his master’s degree in 1999 as a William H. Hastie Fellow, has been named Associate Dean for Faculty Research and Development at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas.

Green, a prolific scholar in the field of labor and employment discrimination law, has been a professor at Texas Wesleyan since 2003. In 2006, he was honored with election to the American Law Institute (ALI), and serves on the ALI Consultative Group on the Restatement of Employment Law. He is a labor and employment mediator and arbitrator and holds leadership positions with committees of the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Section and Dispute Resolution Section.

A widely sought-after speaker, Green has given more than 50 presentations on issues in labor and employment law at national and international conferences since 2000.
