Two University of Wisconsin Law School Moot Court teams received awards at nationally prominent competitions the same weekend in February 2005.

The team of Clint Ind, Itay Shalev, Jacob Thride, and Kalin Boodman won Third Place Overall at the North Central Regional Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Bloomington, Indiana, February 18-20. Jacob Thride was individually recognized as the Second Best Oralist. Coaches for the team were Faisal Khan and Christian Lee.

In Chicago at the Midwest regional Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court Competition on February 19, Tony Relys and Timothy Cruz received the Best Oral Argument award and placed Third Overall.  Coach for the team was Arthur Kuo.
