University of Wisconsin Law School students Zeke Fletcher and Andrew Adams III were elected to the Executive Board of the National Native American Law Student Association (NNALSA) at the annual NNALSA meeting, held in conjunction with the Federal Bar Association's Thirtieth Annual Indian Law Conference April 14-15, 2005 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Fletcher and Adams will be third-year UW law students in Fall 2005. They will serve on the NNALSA Board for a one-year term, ending in April 2006.
Fletcher was elected Area Four Representative. The area comprises NNALSA chapters at law schools in Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana. Adams, who is also Webmaster for NNALSA, was elected Treasurer.
Adams and Fletcher are both alumni of the University of Michigan. Fletcher is a member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, and Adams is a member of the Muscogee Nation of Oklahoma.
