The UW Law School’s seventh annual Fall Open House for prospective students is set for Monday, September 26, 2005. The Open House will feature presentations by law school administrators, faculty, and current students.
The schedule of events begins with check-in and continental breakfast 8:30 a.m. – 9 a.m., followed by a welcome from Law School Dean Kenneth B. Davis, Jr. and Assistant Dean for Admissions and Financial Aid Mike Hall.
Other features are a talk on "Who comes to Wisconsin and Why?" by Professor and former judge Susan Steingass, Director of the Communication and Advocacy Program; presentations on career services and clinical opportunities; and a student panel led by Student Bar Association President Joyce Chang.
The Open House is being held in conjunction with the Midwest Association of Pre-Law Advisors (MAPLA) Caravan, which will be at Wisconsin Memorial Union the same day, offering prospective students the opportunity to meet admissions representatives from approximately 70-80 other law schools.
