Each year the University of Wisconsin Law School celebrates its tradition of recruiting and graduating successful minority attorneys at the spring Legal Education Opportunities banquet. This year, the 37th annual LEO Banquet is set for Saturday, April 8, 2006 at the Madison Concourse Hotel, One West Dayton Street in Madison. Social hour begins at 5:30 and dinner begins at 7 p.m.
The Indigenous Law Students Association is organizing the event. Keynote speaker will be attorney Aurene Martin, a partner in the federal Indian law practice group of Holland & Knight, Washington, D.C. Martin is a 1993 graduate of the UW Law School and a LEO alumna.
