Students from the University of Wisconsin Law School took second place at the 11th annual Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition, held in Seattle in March 2006 in conjunction with the HNBA Mid-Year Conference.  The team also placed first for "Petitioner's Best Brief."

Team members Francisco Ortega 2L and Anthony Martinez 3L competed against 30 teams representing law schools from across the country.  Gerardo Alcazar 3L served as the team's coach for the competition.
