By tradition, the University of Wisconsin Law School holds its own Presentation of the Colors ceremony the afternoon preceding the general UW-Madison Commencement for professional schools.

For the Class of 2006, which graduates on Friday, May 12, the ceremony will feature a new location: the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.

Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin, an alumna of the Law School (Class of 1989) will be Keynote Speaker for the 2 p.m. ceremony.  Professor Gordon Smith will be Faculty Speaker.

The three student speakers will be Timothy Cruz, Lola Velazquez-Aguilu, and Christopher Ochoa.  Master of ceremonies will be Nina McIntyre.  All four students were elected by their classmates to serve in these positions of honor on Graduation Day.
