Two University of Wisconsin Law School second-year students were recognized as outstanding oral advocates at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition on February 24-25, 2007, held at the University of Notre Dame.

Michael Klein was named Best Oralist among 64 competitors at the tournament, and David Warning took the honor of Third Place Oralist.

At the prominent international competition, students write and argue a fictional case before the International Court of Justice at The Hague.

The Wisconsin team advanced to this round of regional competition with contributions from teammates William Sulton 2L, Jaime Hickey-Mendoza 3L, and Francisco Ortega 3L. Third-year students Claudia Quiroz and Andy Twietmeyer coached the team.
