The University of Wisconsin Law School basketball team won the Madison League Men’s Championship on March 14, 2007, with a 64-57 victory over Babe’s Bar and Grill.
Law students Nam Dao, Chris Ladwig, Tony Trillo, and Mat Yang joined the lone engineering student on the team, Kyle Wojtecki, to top the 10-team league. The team, "Casual Hustle," has been in existence for three years – "since the beginning of Law School," says coach and team captain Ladwig.
Ladwig commented after the win, "An interesting note on our championship ‘Legal Team’: We had no players taller than 5'9"."
