Committee members include Professors William Clune and David Schwartz, Career Services Public Interest Coordinator Kristin Davis, Director of Alumni Relations Jini Rabas, and first-year students Zina Deldar, Cathleen Dettmann, and Paul Burant.
An LRAP Celebration in the Law School atrium Thursday, April 26, from 4 to 6 p.m., celebrated pledges by third-year students to LRAP and 2L and 1L "pledge a day" totals for the year.
UW Law alumnus William Conley ‘82 of Foley & Lardner spoke on the importance of LRAPs, commending the significant efforts of the students thus far and stressing the importance of giving back as students move on in their legal careers. Conley serves on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Equal Justice Fund, Inc., a nonprofit group working with Wisconsin attorneys to provide support to Wisconsin Legal Aid.
