-- A new Race Judicata location on campus drew students despite a cold day to raise money for summer grants. Race Judicata 2007 is Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007.

-- Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP) momentum culminated in more than 300 student pledge support cards and 23 organizations in coalition.

-- The Dean's LRAP Committee will distribute plans for a new LRAP model in December 2007.

-- Students attended public interest conferences in Colorado, Boston, and Milwaukee.

-- PILF celebrated the Fourth Annual Community Justice Week, March 4-10, 2007, entitled "Giving Back to LRAP" (Loan Repayment Assistance Program). In coalition with Law School faculty and student organizations, PILF organized community service projects and fundraisers for charitable organizations such as United Asian Services of Wisconsin.

Notable speakers during the week included lawyers from Community Justice, Inc., Patrick Barrett of the American Constitution Society, and keynote speaker Paul Hoffman, the former director of the ACLU in California, thanks to a grant from the University Lectures Committee.

The week brought all contributors together for a Chili Cook-off, with winning submissions from Laura Felmer, Nidhi Kashyap, Kristen Zorbini, Bobak Razavi, and Kim Smith.
