The UW Law School and the Las Vegas firm of Lionel Sawyer & Collins will present a free Ethics CLE program Saturday, September 8, 2007, at the firm’s office. Teaching the course will be Professor Ralph Cagle of the Law School and Paul R. Hejmanowski '72, Shareholder and Managing Partner of the firm.
Also attending the gathering will be Law School Dean Kenneth B. Davis, Jr.; former Law School Dean Daniel Bernstine, who is now President and CEO of the Law School Admissions Council; Professor Charles Irish, Director of the Law School’s East Asian Legal Studies Center; and Jini Rabas ‘04, Director of Alumni Relations.
Held in conjunction with the Badger football match against the UNLV Rebels, the event is open to all alumni in the Las Vegas area as well as all UW Law alumni who travel to Las Vegas for the game. Following the CLE program, which is set for 8:30 a.m. to noon, the Wisconsin Law Alumni Association will hold a pre-game tailgate party.
The course has been approved for CLE ethics credit in both Wisconsin and Nevada. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the program will start at 9 a.m.
