The conference "New Legal Realism Meets Feminism & Legal Theory II: Empirical Perspectives on the Place of Law in Women's Work and Family Lives" will be held October 5 and 6, 2007, at the Pyle Center on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus.

Among the speakers will be University of Wisconsin Law School professors Tonya Brito, Elizabeth Mertz, and Nina Camic and Legal History Fellow Gwen Jordan; former UW law professor  Catherine Albiston; and other prominent scholars from universities around the nation and the world.
