Three UW Law School students who participated in the writing program of the Wisconsin Women’s Law Journal will have articles published by the journal in the 2007-08 academic year. All three authors wrote on topics related to the journal’s mission of studying the intersection of law and gender.

Two of the articles will appear in the forthcoming Fall 2007 issue: Katie Holtz on parental rights for incarcerated mothers in Wisconsin, and Elizabeth Kisthardt’s article on the influence of the "boy crisis" on the New Title IX regulations.

The Spring 2008 issue will include Kathryn Fanlund on legislative changes impacting immigration and the risks posed to immigrant women. This will be the first issue of the journal to carry the new name, Wisconsin Law Journal of Gender & Society.
