The University of Wisconsin Law School hosted a reception for its New York area alumni on Thursday, January 3, 2008, at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, 301 Park Avenue in Manhattan.

Law School Dean Ken Davis commented, "I always look forward to these opportunities to check in with longtime friends and meet other Law School graduates I may not have crossed paths with while they were students," Davis says.

"This event was outstanding," commented one participant. "I hope we can do it again."

Joining Davis in New York to welcome their former students and all UW law graduates were Professors Steve Barkan, Peter Carstensen, and Carin Clauss, and other UW law faculty.
