University of Wisconsin Law School Professor Emeritus David Trubek has accepted the invitation of Osgoode Hall Law School of York University in Toronto to visit the school as a Pierre Genest Fellow in March 2008.

The fellowship was conceived to bring renowned scholars to Osgoode Hall to teach, engage with faculty and students, and pursue personal research. Trubek’s visit, which will take place March 17-22, coincides with the Third International CLPE Workshop hosted by the Comparative Research in Law and Political Economy Network at Osgoode Hall. The network was founded in 2004, dedicated to interdisciplinary examination of the intersections between law and political economy.

Trubek is a Senior Fellow at the Center for World Affairs and the Global Economy (WAGE) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as well as Voss-Bascom Professor of Law Emeritus at the UW Law School. To learn more about his work, see http://law.wisc.edu/profiles/index.php?iEmployeeID=221 .
