The University of Wisconsin Law School’s Class of 2008 was officially admitted to practice in Wisconsin on June 11, 2008, with traditional swearing-in ceremonies at the state Capitol, presided over by Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson of the Supreme Court of Wisconsin.
The 131 new UW Law School graduates were sworn in with four ceremonies in separate rooms. All were welcomed to the State Bar of Wisconsin and to the profession by the Supreme Court justices, Law School Dean Ken Davis, State Bar President Tom Basting, and Wisconsin Board of Bar Examiners Director John Kosobucki.
