The UW-Madison Division of International Studies has awarded a $64,000 Research Circle grant to a project proposal by three University of Wisconsin Law School professors and their colleague from the Department of Sociology.
Law professors Heinz Klug, Kathryn Hendley, and Alexandra Huneeus and sociology professor Mara Loveman received the three-year grant for the project "The Role of Law in Developing Societies."
The project will be administered by the Global Legal Studies Center, a joint program of the UW Law School and Division of International Studies.
This award marks the third time within three months that professors from the UW Law School have received major grants for research on international issues.
