The UW Law School is a co-sponsor of the panel "The Global Economic Crisis: The Untold Stories," to be held Thursday, November 20, 2008, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in Morgridge Auditorium of Grainger Hall.

Assistant Professor of Law Darian Ibrahim will join other professors from a wide range of departments at the university who will offer different perspectives on the causes, consequences, and potential solutions for the global economic crisis.

The panel will address the questions of how a crisis in the U.S. housing market grew into a full- blown global economic crisis, and what these events mean for the global economy, governments, businesses and average people around the world.

Morgridge Auditorium is Room 1100 of Grainger Hall, the Wisconsin School of Business, at 975 University Avenue, where parking is available from an entrance on Brooks Street.
