The University of Wisconsin Law School’s BLSA (Black Law Student Association) Mock Trial team placed into the semi-final round at the Thurgood Marshall Midwest Regional Mock Trial Competition in St. Louis in January 2009.

Teammates Jennifer L. Epps Robert Lampley, James H. Schlender, and Kathryn N. Jackson were coached by Dane County Assistant District Attorney Kene Okocha, a graduate of the UW Law School Class of 2007.

The team argued a problem involving an alleged hazing incident between the president of a fraternity and a prospective member.
