Eight recent graduates of the University of Wisconsin Law School were recognized by the Wisconsin Law Journal on July 30 in its 2009 salute to “Up and Coming Lawyers.”

The journal is honoring 20 attorneys who are “on the fast track to making a significant impact on the legal profession. They show determination -- in legal work, in community betterment, and in improving their own law firms.”

The selected “rising stars” will be featured in a printed publication as well as honored publicly at the July 30 reception in Milwaukee.

The reception was held at Trinity Irish Pub, 125 East Juneau Avenue in Milwaukee, on Thursday, July 30.
