Jeremy Marshall, a second-year law student at the University of Wisconsin Law School, has been named one of the Native American 40 Under 40 honorees for 2009 in connection with the 40th anniversary of the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED).

Marshall, a member of the Cherokee Nation, was selected along with other young American Indian leaders who have “demonstrated leadership, initiative, and dedication to achieve impressive and significant contributions in their businesses, communities, and to Indian Country.”

The honorees were formally recognized on September 18, 2009, at the Indian Progress in Business Event (INPRO) in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

With headquarters in Mesa, Arizona, NCAIED is a non-profit organization, founded and directed by American Indians, dedicated to developing Native American economic self-sufficiency through business ownership.
