The University of Wisconsin Law School’s Twentieth Annual Race Judicata on October 3, 2009, raised $3,500 to fund law students working in unpaid positions in public interest law.
The annual event, sponsored by the Law School’s Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF), drew 86 participants to run or walk the 5K course.
Top competitors were:
Female: Melinda Giftos (21:46), Valerie Bailey (23:09), Kathleen Bishop (25:06).
Male: Noah Seligman (17:59), Aaron Seligman (18:19), David Rihn (21:01).
Katy Ramsey 3L, President of PILF, noted, “Even in a year when we weren’t sure what to expect, I think we can say without a doubt that Race Judicata was once again a success.”
