On June 13, Professor Herman Goldstein received the international Stockholm Prize in Criminology for his global impact on the improvement of policing. The prize--sometimes referred to as the Nobel Prize of criminology--was presented to Goldstein at the historic City Hall in Stockholm, Sweden.

Goldstein is a University of Wisconsin Law School professor emeritus.
