Sumudu Atapattu was invited to participate in an experts’ meeting organized by the new United Nations Special Rapporteur on Human Rights and the Environment, Professor David Boyd, to discuss his mandate. The meeting was sponsored by the United Nations Environment Program and the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights and was held in New York.
