There are several positions available for 2Ls in the Public Defender Project. These are 10 week summer internships with the Wisconsin State Public Defenders Office. Students receive a stipend for their work in the internship. The internship involves a spring semester class, Trial Advocacy during intersession and a follow-up Professional Responsibility class in the fall. Internships are available in State Public Defender Offices in Baraboo, Jefferson, Janesville and Milwaukee.
