Attention 1Ls! Enter the LR&W Best Brief Competition 2006 Each year, The Legal Research and Writing program sponsors a Best Brief Competition for all the 1Ls in the course. Entering the competition is easy, and winning the competition is a great honor to add to your resume. The writer of the best brief receives a plaque, and the four other finalists receive letters acknowledging their achievement. While participation in this competition is voluntary, we strongly encourage you to enter. Instructions for Participants Participation is easy. Just do the following. Print one extra copy of your TLB second submission. (This means you will print three copies--one for the citation grader and two for your LR&W professor.) Put a cover page on the extra copy that includes the following information The label: "Best Brief Submission" Your name Your e-mail address The address where you want to receive notification over the summer Place the copy, with the cover page, in the envelope you submit to your LR&W professor. Turn in the envelope which now includes two copies of the second submission, to the LRW office (suite 4373) by the TLB due date, which is noon, April 26.
