The field of candidates for the Best Brief of 2006 has been narrowed to five finalists: Kate Botham, Sarah Germonprez, Eric Huston, Daniel Kuehn, and Chris Watson. These students' briefs were chosen from the field of candidates selected by LR&W faculty to represent the best from the 22 legal writing sections in spring of 2006. These top five briefs will now be reviewed by three law professors, with one brief chosen as Best Brief for 2006. The writer of the best brief will receive a plaque from Dean Davis and Director Susan Steingass in honor of this achievement.
